Ensuite bathroom design
As per the latest developments and creative minds in the architectural industry, most of the houses are spacious and suitable for large families. While you have 2-3 bedrooms in your house it is unacceptable and a discomfort too having just one bathroom in your household. The days when all the family people shared one bathroom while others had to wait have gone. In this modernized era no one have just enough time to waste for their turn to go to the washroom.
Ensuites are great investments that don’t necessarily need an extension although it may encroach on valuable living space. It might just reduce your bedroom space a bit if you design an Ensuite in your room after all it is worth it. As mentioned earlier most of the houses are already planned and built in such a way to avoid discomfort and provide privacy. However for people who have been staying in their fore-fathers house since long and plan to stick around, you might rather do some planning and get an Ensuite into your existing room which should not be a very strenuous job.
Ensuite is not necessarily to be as huge as your main bathroom however select as much space needed that you can fit in the toilet, shower and some bathroom vanity items. Most of the ensuites tend to be square in shape as a standard 1700mm x 700mm can be too large for your bedroom and will occupy too much of a space. Consider the dimensions of the bathroom carefully. It is essential to shop around for the items so that you can plan the design and the layout and then start the work. Stuffing in too many things can spoil the design. There are various sizes available in the market in respect to all the bathroom items. One can install a pump system for easy flow and availability of water in the ensuite. Another important thing to be considered while modeling the ensuite is the ventilation. It is of utmost importance as the size of the ensuite will be usually smaller compared to the full bathroom and can become stuffy and congested. If the ensuite is placed towards the internal walls, one should install a duct too. For the existing houses it is important to consult a professional before you engage yourself in any kind of implementation of ensuite as this will cut off any uncertainties.
