Small bathroom design
A small bathroom will be limited to what you can use so you will need to be economical with the space you have. There are many such basins and toilets which can help maximise the space you have.
Wall-hung basins are especially practical for this as they free up the space on the floor, giving the illusion that the room is actually larger. If you do prefer a basin with pedestal consider using a corner basin, as again this will take up less space
To match the basin you could also a wall-hung toilet, opposed to one with a cistern tank. The cistern will need to be hidden behind the wall so bare in mind the prepatory work involved beforehand. The toilet does not necessarily have to be wall mounted, it can sit on the floor with the back to wall. By opting to put the cistern behind the wall you will gain about square foot of room.
If you don’t have the space for a shower and a bath why not choose both with a showerbath. A p-shaped bath with shower screen and wall-mounted shower head give you the best of both worlds.
A large bathroom cabinet can really spoil a small bathroom, so choose either a simple mirror or small medicine cabinet. For storage space opt for a small free-standing cupboard or linen basket, and maybe place it beneath the wall-hung basin. Another great option is to have a small vanity and basin. This is a very popular choice in new bathroom remodelling projects, as they double up as a wash area and storage space in one.
The most simple solution to small bathroom design is to minimise clutter. Choose accessories that are understated and match the rest of the design. For paintings and ornaments remeber small is beautiful.
